Design Thinking  Art, information design, graphic design, product design, interaction design, industrial design, software development, architecture — anywhere there is a design process there are opportunities to learn about how we understand complex problems and create solutions.

Visual Thinking  Simple pictures. Rich communication. Diagrams, sketches, prototypes, idea mapping, and modeling are all visual thinking tools. In the lab, we look for new ways of using existing tools and develop our own.
