Fluid Hive’s Idea Lab is a structured environment for idea exchange and development. Idea Lab brings people together for discussions and explorations of how design and visual techniques can help organizations and individuals understand complexity, solve problems, share ideas, and collaborate.

Visual Business Modeling — Nov. 23

What is visual business modeling? Who can use it? How to use it with products, services, and non-profit missions? How can visual business modeling be used strategically?

Presentations: Visual Opportunities — Nov. 30

What are visual presentation opportunities? What are some ways to capture them?

Using Visual Explanations — Dec. 07

What is a visual explanation? How to use them? Examples.

Visual Facilitation: Working with Groups and Teams — Dec. 14

What is visual facilitation? Why is it powerful? How can you bring it into your work and life?

The How & Why Participants begin each session by learning about the topic via a brief introduction and hands-on activities. We’ll discuss ways to apply what you’ve learned, work through additional examples, or discuss the topic in further detail depending on how everyone feels. You are encouraged to discuss a project you are working on or challenges you regularly face so we can look for ways to accomplish your goals faster and with stronger, more efficient results.
